The government's Families Package in the 2015 Budget has goals to simplify and provide more access to Child Care Services and to provide access to Early Learning Services for all children. They also want to encourage more mothers to re enter the workforce. The No Jab No Pay and now No Jab No Play legislation passed in NSW and being introduced in SA, has removed these options for many families and added considerable financial costs to those who seek to remain employed.

Conscientious objectors to vaccination are a small minority of families who have researched and chosen not to vaccinate. There are many more families who have chosen to delay vaccination or selectively vaccinate, who are now forced into financial penalties or vaccination catch-up schedules that require all vaccines to comply and given only a month apart.
Families who do not meet vaccination requirements are now
• paying full fees for childcare
• paying taxes to subsidise childcare for vaccinated children
• paying a Medicare levy to subsidise a health system in which they largely do not participate because their children enjoy good health.
